Baby Shower in New York and Trip to Cinque Terre

Thanks to my friends for throwing me a fantastic baby shower outside on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the Maritime Hotel in New York - all the gifts made it back to Spain!! Inigo and I have been traveling for the past week and a half - we went to Cinque Terre in Italy (a national park with 5 cliffside villages and vineyards), then Monaco for a Hedge Fund Conference and then up into the Pyranees for Inigo's 200km bike race - planes, trains, automobiles and one Camper Van! There were plenty of people on those trails huffing and puffing and then they saw me and their eyes bulged! With all the hiking, I was able to eat lots of pasta and gelato!!

Abo's Wedding

This past Saturday - May 24, we drove 70km south of Pamplona to attend the wedding party of Abo and Hema. This was no ordinary wedding party. For entertainment, the boys run around in a smaller version of Pamplona's "plaza del torros" with 8 month old "torritos" chasing them around. The "bulls" still weigh quite a bit and hurt when they bump into you. Needless to say, Inigo is quite sore today!
